Collage - Steampunk Mandala

I have done lot of indian patterns so wanted to try something different for one of Gwen's class.
I went for collage steampunk mandala. I wanted to try gear mandala for sometime considering my new obsession is Zentangle. The main focus piece is gear mandala with chipboards from Mudra at the center. I embossed different gear layers with Emerald Creek embossing powders.
The rest of gears were stenciled and few gears were added for visual interest
The chains and links were drawn using PITT pens.

The corners were stamped and heat embossed with gold. The focal image consists of filigree chipboard which was embossed with chunky and fine embossing powders  in different shades of gold.  The medallion in the middle is two circular cardstock pieces placed one on top of the other.
